These terms
This website is operated by Donguté Group of Companies Ltd (RC /B/083 of 26 August 2025), of Mile 2, Former Guarantee, Limbe, Fako Division, South West Region, Cameroon. By placing an order with us, on this site, by phone or on WhatsApp, you accept these terms.
We sell to farmers, traders and businesses in Cameroon. If you are ordering on behalf of a company, you confirm you are entitled to do so.
Prices
- All prices are in CFA francs (XAF) and are the price per unit shown on the product page.
- Prices can change without notice. The price that applies to your order is the one shown when you place it.
- Delivery is charged separately and depends on where your order is going.
- We correct obvious pricing errors. If a price is clearly wrong we will contact you before despatch and you may cancel.
Minimum order quantities
Some products carry a minimum order. Day-old broiler chicks are sold from 50 birds, 21-day-old broilers from 200 birds, and day-old layer chicks from 1,500 birds. The minimum is shown on the product page and enforced at checkout.
These minimums exist because chicks travel and brood better in a full box, not to push you into a larger order.
Orders and stock
- An order is a request to buy. It becomes a contract when we confirm it.
- Live birds are hatched and grown to a schedule. Where a batch is not yet available we will tell you the hatch date before you commit.
- If we cannot supply what you ordered, we will offer an alternative, a later date, or a full refund.
- You may cancel an order at no cost up to 48 hours before despatch. After that, live birds and milled feed are already committed to you and cannot be cancelled.
Payment
Payment is due on delivery unless we have agreed otherwise in writing with you. We do not store card details.
For large or recurring orders we may agree a deposit or an account. Any such arrangement is confirmed in writing and does not change these terms.
Delivery and collection
- We deliver across Cameroon and you may also collect from our Limbe premises.
- Delivery dates are our best estimate. Roads, weather and bird welfare can move a date, and we will tell you if that happens.
- Live birds are despatched early in the day to travel in the cool. Somebody must be present to receive them.
- Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection.
Live animals
Chicks, birds and fingerlings are living animals. We vaccinate, grade and pack them to the standard described on each product page, and we tell you what they were vaccinated against.
What happens after they reach you (brooding temperature, feed, water, ventilation, biosecurity) determines how they perform, and is outside our control. We do not guarantee growth rates, laying rates or survival once the birds have been accepted in good condition.
Our veterinary team and Donguté Training Academy exist precisely to help you with this, and their support is free to our customers.
Feed
Feed is milled to the formulation stated on the product page. Store it dry, off the ground, and use it within the period marked on the bag. We are not responsible for feed that has been stored badly, re-bagged, or mixed with another product after delivery.
Training
- Places on a Donguté Training Academy batch are limited and are confirmed in the order they are paid for.
- If we cancel or move a training session, you may take the next session or have your fee refunded in full.
- Training materials remain our property and are for your own use, not for resale or redistribution.
Our liability
We are responsible for supplying goods that match their description and are of satisfactory quality. Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost production, or the cost of a flock you were unable to raise, except where the law does not allow us to exclude that.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon, and the courts of Cameroon have jurisdiction over any dispute.
We would much rather resolve a problem by phone than in a courtroom. Call the order desk first. Most complaints are settled the same day.
